PETROLEUM TANK TECHNOLOGIES
TESTIMONIALS
Tasco Inland
In June 2007 JCC Suntech Pty Ltd (now known as Petroleum Tank Technologies) introduced us to their underground fuel tank lining work utilizing their Fibreglass Re-inforced Plastic (FRP) technology and it’s many advantages.
Since then, we have had more than twenty (20) Tanks lined, and we are pleased to comment as follows:
Results
- We are very happy with results.
- All works were completed on time, usually 3 – 5 days per tank depending on the site.
- Limited interruption to the site has occurred.
- On more than one occasion where the site was not recording losses in our daily reporting, on completion of the cleaning and inspection, we found the tank was in need of immediate repair.
The FRP lining work has proven to be an excellent preventative maintenance measure in those instances.
Benefits
- The capability of Ethanol Storage up to E90
- Extension to the life of the steel tanks, supported by a 20 year guarantee against the ineffectiveness of the lining.
- Permanent manhole to allow for future inspection, cleaning and installation of an Automatic Tank Gauge if required.
- Reduced site downtime and being capable of retailing fuel and other goods during the process.
- Much less expensive than a new tank replacement.
TASCO Inland Australia will continue to utilize this product.

Sanfreund Corporation
"Since commencement in 1998 to February 2010, we have successfully lined over 2,000 UPSTs with our patented Fibre Reinforced Plastic (FRP) Lining.
We are also proud to announce that in that time we have not had one failure or fault in our work."

Service Station Association
"Our Business Partner Petroleum Tank Technologies (a Division of JCC Suntech Pty Ltd.), offers the Industry a truly professional suite of services for S/S Proprietors to take a more pro-active approach to their Storage Tank and Piping System maintenance.
A good start would be for Service Station Proprietors to engage Petroleum Tank Technologies to conduct their low cost Video Scope Tank and Piping Inspection which will indicate what action if any is needed...i.e. a Tank Cleaning, and/or a Tank Lining with Fibre Glass Reinforced Plastic (FRP), or a Tank Replacement, and/or Re-piping.
In view of the adverse publicity given to fuel contamination in recent times, the onus to comply with EPA regulations, and the looming issues for the Industry with Ethanol Blends storage, we urge Members to contact Petroleum Tank Technologies and discuss their services as described in their regular Advertisement and Business Partners' Editorial in our SSA Magazine and Nozzle News, and on their Website at www.petroleumtanktechnologies.com".

Wessel Petroleum
"In 2008, Petroleum Tank Technologies lined five (5) Underground Fuel Tanks at our Bundaberg and Hervey Bay sites, with their Fibreglass Re-inforced Plastic (FRP).
The Company's attention to detail, their compliance to safety procedures and general professionalism, was of the highest standard.
There were considerable cost savings compared to a Tank replacement, minimum site disruptions, and no noticeable loss of revenue.
With the onset of Ethanol products mandated in Queensland, I am totally confident about the durability of their FRP lining product. Our aging Fuel Tanks, which would normally have been removed and replaced by new Tanks, now have a new life by using FRP Tank lining supported by a 20 year guarantee.
Any Industry Members wishing to discuss the above with us, your enquiry is welcome".

Notes:
(1) Both quotes for Tank Replacement from Companies A and B, are actual verifiable costs provided to a customer who then chose the FRP Lining System (and to date has used FRP Lining on more than twenty (20) Tanks). They are based on the removal of an old, and the replacement by a new 45K Fibre Glass, Double Walled Tank. All quotes are Excl. of GST
(2) They include revenue lost as a result of the service station having to close down for the duration of the replacement process.
(During FRP Lining, there is usually no need to close down the site)
(3) All costs are valid as at 1/1/2010 and are based on a single tank job.
(FRP Lining costs can be further reduced for multi tank/site jobs, but subject to final site assessment)
* Depends on soil ... minimum costs were used for both quotes, subject to further inspection.
