PETROLEUM TANK TECHNOLOGIES
FRP Lining for UPST’S
Our UPST lining is a repair system and patented product consisting of Fibre Re-inforced Plastic (FRP) which, when cured under ultra-violet light, sets rock hard and effectively installs a second Tank wall inside the original one, to provide a totally secure and permanently sealing internal lining for UPST's.
During the lining process, there is minimal site disruption and minimal (most likely nil) revenue lost, as opposed to considerable disruption and revenue lost when having to totally close down during a tank replacement.
The FRP lining comes with a 20 year guarantee which includes three follow up visual tank inspections at no charge, one at 10 years and then again at 15 and 20 years.
At the same time, the lining provides Service Stations with a storage capability for Ethanol products, fully compliant to Australian Professional Standards.
By utilizing Novolac or similar product as a standard final coating , up to 90% Ethanol blends can be safely and securely stored.
It also offers a far less costly alternative to UPST replacement, being approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the total cost including business lost during replacement time. (See ‘Cost Comparison’ under Testimonials).
